Andrew B. Finberg was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Fairfax, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Tech University and received his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law. During his undergraduate and legal studies, Andrew served as an intern at The White House and as part of The Pentagon Legal Scholars Program. Thereafter, Andrew began his legal career by working for the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington D.C.

Andrew moved to New Jersey in 1998 and started employment with the Law Offices of John R. Morton, Jr. where he represented nationally recognized automotive lenders. In 2000, Andrew began a career of representing individuals in need of consumer bankruptcy protections. Over the past twenty years, he has assisted countless individuals in obtaining a financial fresh start. In addition to advocating for his clients, Andrew has served as a member for the Lawyers Advisory Committee of the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey (2012 -2018), Chairman of the Chapter 13 Subcommittee for the Lawyers Advisory Committee (2015-2018), Attorney Member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District IV Ethics Committee Camden and Gloucester Counties (2018-present), Speaker for the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Speaker for the Camden and Burlington County Bar Associations and Speaker for the New Jersey Bench Bar Conference.

On January 1, 2020, Andrew was appointed to the panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the District of New Jersey.

Andrew resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with his wife and two sons. When not spending quality time with his family, he enjoys watching his beloved Washington sports teams, exercising and making weak efforts to sound like Eddie Van Halen.
